As LIFE's London Picture Editor he was responsible for the coverage of the invasion of France on June 6, 1944 - D-Day, thus editing the historic photos of Robert Capa. John G. Morris (2013, October 12). In Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia In his blog Photocritic International A.D.Coleman has been meticulously fact-checking the events around the making of Capa's D-Day images. He outright dismisses the "official" story put out by IPC and Morris around the accidentially lost images.
