What I do:

I run a fully digital workflow from image capture to production of my own large format prints. Thus I control every production parameter and must not compromise in the achievable quality. This is definitely not economical, but fun! I am doing studio work (mainly beauty, glamour and fashion). Panorama shots are my outdoor speciality. Occasionally I am able to realize some "free projects" which have been in my head for quite a while. This is - of course - the ultimate fun and reward.

Luckily, I had the privilege of working with many distinguished colleagues in the field to help me advance to the next level. It has been a great opportunity for making friends, learning and inspiration! Drawing from the vast experience of Rolando Gomez - the master for Beauty and Glamour shots - was a very rewarding experience. The incredible Claudio Amadei ("no light, no photo!") teaching me the art of "making" and perfecting the light. "Sweating out" a photostory under the direction of Andrea Pistolesi is exhausting for the body and the mind. The end result will, however, be the worthwhile compensation for the effort. Peter Turnley's mentoring on photo journalism and his individual approach to story telling have made a significant difference to my photography.
